The concept of conversions can be overwhelming to many online entrepreneurs. It’s something that affects many areas of your business. You have to get so many things to convert – your opt in form, sales pages, email subject lines, and more.

Whether it’s a free, organic task like social media or paid ads, you want whatever you do or pay for to convert well for you. Conversions come in many different ways, too. It’s not always money up front.

Sometimes, it’s getting someone to convert from a visitor into a subscriber. Or maybe you want a social post or ad to convert into clicks or engagement on the platform in the form of likes, shares and comments.

To add to the overwhelm, you have to make decisions about what to tweak or test so that you get the kind of conversions you want. Some marketers only pay attention to major elements, but by turning your attention to smaller actions, you can continue getting closer to your goal.

AI can help you make a determination about what you should b optimizing on a micro level that will enhance the customer journey and funnel them through your touchpoints with ease.

How AI Can Help with Micro Conversion Marketing

There are many decisions you can make on your own, but with the help of artificial intelligence (AI), you can get closer to your goal in less time. So let’s say your ultimate conversion goal is to get visitors to become subscribers.

The micro goals you can focus on are things like:

• Creating content that appeals to your target audience
• Publishing the content on the right platforms at the right time
• Convincing someone to click on the link to your landing page
• Getting the visitor to watch your landing page video
• Offering the best free gift for your visitor
• Having them fill out the form
• Getting them to submit their subscription using the button

All seven of those total add up to your ultimate goal of turning visitors into subscribers. By having AI help you optimize each one, your odds of having people convert improve greatly. You want AI to help you optimize each micro task.

Use AI to Help You Identify Your Micro Tasks

Start by working with AI to make sure you haven’t missed anything in the process for achieving your big conversion goal. For example, you might prompt AI like this: “My ultimate goal is to have my target audience convert into a subscriber. Here is a list of the tasks I can think of that I want to optimize to improve my overall conversions. Is there anything missing in my list for this purpose?”

You may have thought your list was complete, but when you see the results of what AI helps you with, you'll realize you came up short. For example, AI adds additional micro optimization opportunities such as:

• Target audience research to make sure you understand their pain points and needs
• Implementation of a retargeting strategy for those who abandon the page
• Landing page optimization in terms of mobile-friendly, page load speed, etc.

Once you have a complete list of the various tasks that create a whole account out of everything leading up to your bigger conversion goals, you will be able to begin working with AI to optimize each one of those.

Partner with AI to Improve and Test Your Micro Conversion Elements to Perform Well

If you already have some of these elements in place, you can tell AI what you have already done and ask for recommendations on how to improve upon what you have in place.

From that point on, you can work with AI to create a split test version so that you begin enhancing your micro conversions, and ultimately your overall goals. For example, you may have started out with a preliminary outlook about your target audience pain points and needs.

You can work with AI to take a deep dive into your demographic audience and have it come up with something more persuasive and imperative, which is likely to convert higher for you.

You can do this for every step of your micro conversion optimization process. For example, when it comes to your call to action statement, you can get an immediate alternative to split test and as soon as you get the results of that, split test a different element on the page.

Any data that you uncover throughout this process can be given to AI so it can make informed decisions based on consumer behavior. Even tools like heat maps might help AI figure out that your opt in form needs to have a different placement, so you want to ask it the best option for you to help it make an informed decision.

Optimization can and should be performed on a large-scale as well as a micro level. You won’t achieve the best conversions for opt ins if you’re only doing something big, like changing your lead magnet. It takes a whole approach to fully reach the level you’re capable of achieving.
